Become a Yoga Teacher in India ! This is a Yoga Alliance certified RYT-200 Yoga Teacher training – meaning you can gain your certification and register as a RYT-200 Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance immediately upon graduation from your in-person studies in Rishikesh – qualifying you to teach yoga in gyms and yoga studios worldwide.

Prerequisites and What to Expect

Aligned with Yoga Alliance elevated standards, we require a minimum of one year of continuous and dedicated yoga practice, a good understanding of the English, and a dedication to study and practice.

We want to stress that this is a rich and intensive program, both for physical and emotional. To graduate, you will be required to attend all the hours, pass both written and teaching exams, but we will make sure that you do.

We teach Yoga as a healing discipline, not performance art. We like to say that we train Yoga Teachers, not Yoga Instructors (yes, there is a difference!), so if you would like to become one, we will be happy to have you.

What will you learn

Asana practical training in yoga is imparted every training day. Disciplining the body is brought about by the regular, uninterrupted and dedicated practice of yoga asanas. The trainees of the yoga teacher training courses are always encouraged to learn the different types of asana both from the perspective to beginners to advanced level yoga poses with respect to their level of yoga teacher training course.

Every morning experience and learn traditional yoga practice lead by our experienced lead trainer Himanshu. You will be taught in Hatha style of yoga which can be modified or advanced to suit all levels of practice.

Every evening masterclasses of vinyasa and yin will be practiced.

We’ll discuss fine details of over 40 poses. We’ll demonstrate the shape, provide basic and deepening instructional cues, explain common misalignments and contraindications, identify anatomic and energetic focus of the pose.

This in depth review of yoga poses, and systematic study process will provide you the foundation to teach any pose to your students

    Course FAQ

The Yoga we teach on our Yoga Teacher Training courses is an authentic ‘Vini’ flow – which connects Hatha Yoga postures in short flowing Vinyasa sequences. The Yoga taught draws from the Sri T Krishnamacharya lineage – a therapeutic and holistic approach to teaching the goal of which is to create healing and wellbeing in mind, body and breath. This builds a strong and authentic foundation for your teaching and practice, ensuring what you teach is safe and effective and from a legitimate source. We teach you how to deepen your own practice and give you the skills and knowledge to be able to teach all levels of Yoga with confidence and understanding.

The training is physically and emotionally demanding; therefore we require that all students have prior yoga experience of at least 1 year, and are committed to improving their practice.

Please note that some students that attend our teacher training simply wish to deepen their practice and do not intend to teach immediately. This is fine with us, as what matters more to is a student’s dedication, commitment to personal growth and openness to learning.

It is important to understand that this is a teacher training and not a yoga retreat. Please note that our yoga teacher training courses are not suitable for people who are looking for a relaxing or rejuvenating yoga experience. To them we suggest to consider our  Yoga Retreat   programs.
