When you walk into an aerial yoga class with us,  you’ll find an airy, light-filled studio where fabric hammocks hang on a sturdy white structure. This Aerial Yoga class takes your yoga practice off the mat and into the air; enlivening the whole body , engaging the breath and refreshing the mind. You will find yourself floating in fabric, hanging upside down and finding challenging new dimensions to standing postures and twists.
Come with an open mind and the willingness to practice something new as our commitment is to to make you feel welcome and at ease.

What are the benefits of Aerial Yoga?

The class practiced in the hammock can alleviate back and neck pressure, relieve joint pressure and spine compression, rejuvenate the body, help you develop new body skills, boost mental abilities , detoxifies the body , tone the muscles , make you happy by releasing endorphins.

Listen to your body and take care of yourself during class. You are not required/expected to do anything in this class and always play at your own comfort level.
To get the absolute most from your aerial yoga classes and maintain the highest level of safety, we kindly ask that you read the following guidelines

We suggest that you wear comfortable clothes that covers armpits (sleeve) and legs and allow for inversions. No socks (unless they are grip socks).

Avoid  ZIPPERS and JEWERLY,  – this can cause injury to you and damage the hammocks.

Please avoid MAKE UP , FAKE TAN and PERFUMES.

It is important to arrive 15 EARLY, to allow for time to check in, fill out paperwork, and customize the height of your equipment.  Manduka yoga mats are included and will be set up under your hammock at the beginning of the class.

Please do not teach other participants in class any aerial yoga movement, pose, sequence, skill, etc.

It is important to arrive 15 minutes prior to the class as the door will close and late entry will not be allowed. This time is  to check in, fill out liability form and customize the height of your equipment.

If you are unable to arrive on time, please understand, you will be forfeiting your spot in class and will be charged for the session. This strict policy is in place for your safety and the safety and courtesy for the other participants.

Before the beginning of each class, we review several important safety instructions including measuring each student for their own apparatus. This process cannot be done after the start of class without causing significant disruption.

Check with your doctor before attending class if you have a spinal injury or any medical condition that might be affected by an Aerial Yoga class. Contraindications include but are not limited to :

Recent Surgery
Heart Disease
Very High or Very Low Blood Pressure
Easy Onset Vertigo
Osteoporosis or Bone Weakness
Recent Concussion or Head Injury
Head Cold, Flu, or Sinusitis
Hiatal Hernia or Disc Herniation
Recent Stroke
Artificial or Re-Surfaced Hips
Botox (within 24 hours of class)

If any of this issues affect you, we may need to check with your doctor before commencing or leave certain exercises out of your program. Always let us know of any medical conditions/concerns before each session begins!

Online booking can be made via our website and is required by everyone as space is limited to 3 spots. We abide by a strict 48h cancellations policy, therefore cancellations under 48-h will not be honored.

If you need to cancel a session you can do so by log-in to your profile. E-mails and phone calls will not be accepted as a form of early cancellation.

Students who are a no show/late cancel that have active class-pack passes will have one class deducted from their available passes for each no show/late cancel event.

If you would like to transfer your class to someone else, please call/text and let us know to whom we can give your class to.

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy other than documented medical emergencies or a same day COVID diagnosis.
