The training is covered over 5 weekends, at our beautiful studio in the 2nd district of Vienna. Our journey together starts on the 26th September  in the evening with a Vedic Ceremony and special gathering. The course will end on 26th October in the afternoon with a beautiful Graduation Ceremony

300 HOUR YTT CURRICULUM

This 300 hour YTT is a highly experiential course, meticulously tailored to offer you an exceptional education and rewarding experience. You’ll learn, practice, and then teach the concepts and tools we’ll share. This will afford you effective integration, so you can share what you learn with confidence.

Explore fundamental yoga postures, delving into their alignment, benefits, contraindications, and modifications. As you build a solid foundation, progress to intermediate and advanced poses, including arm balances and inversions. This journey goes beyond the physical, allowing you to deeply understand postures from an energetic perspective, recognizing them as essential elements of a masterful recipe for your practice.

This unique segment is designed to provide an immersive and hands-on exploration of yoga poses, unraveling the intricacies of alignment, anatomy, and energetics. We will learn how to do, how to refine and how to teach, adjust and support (advanced and beginner students) in advanced poses like arm balance, inversion and backbends.

You will also learn how to create some sequence and transition using all these poses in a yoga practice.

We provide support and challenge to suit each individual’s needs.

The practices will include morning and evening Hatha or Vinyasa yoga, laboratory of every different position, strengthening, stretching, with short meditation and pranayama.

Whether you are a practitioner or a teacher, understanding how the elements of a class are intelligently combined and delivered can profoundly influence the benefits of practice at any level. We will delve  into the art of smooth transitions, allowing your sequences to unfold organically, creating a harmonious and transformative experience for your students.

Throughout this training, teachers will practice teaching, in small  groups on a daily basis:

  • Apply teaching methodologies in a supportive and supervised environment
  • Engage in reflective practices to refine your teaching style
  • Deepen your teaching skills through hands-on practice
  • Design and lead your own class sequences

These interactive classes are designed to build on core knowledge in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics learned in an introductory course (200-hour foundational yoga teacher training, for example).

Participants will explore and study specific body parts and anatomic principles to develop and engage in knowledgeable, safe and sensible personal and teaching practices.

Particular attention will be given to the Respiratory System and Anatomy of the Breath, the Fasciae, the Extremities – Shoulder, Knee and Foot, and the Hip and Pelvis.  .

Delve into the practical details of anatomy, gaining insights into bones, joints, muscles, fascia, and various bodily systems. Enhance your understanding of engagement, mobility, and stability, unlocking the secrets of kinesthetics.

Come fall in love with Anatomy! Emerge with a brand new, deeper vision and understanding of your students’ and clients’ bodies as well as your own

Journey through the intricate layers of the body, delving into the koshas, the subtle energy systems, chakras, and the profound connection between breath and movement. You will learn the roots of many of these concepts: chakras, nadis, bandhas, vayus and kundalini. We will discuss where the ideas come from, what they were originally used for, and what they have come to mean in modern usage.

Refreshing the foundation of the History and Philosophy of Yoga.

You will refresh and learn:

Himanshu is the founder of Prashmana Yoga School. He has been practicing yoga for 15 years and has been working actively for the last 10 years in University, Hospitals and Yoga School. He brings to all his classes an immense wealth of knowledge and kindness, coupled with a good sense of humor.

Madalina

E-RYT 500, YACEP

Always a student, Madalina has completed over 1500 hours of Yoga trainings and her style is strongly influenced by the teachings of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya. She embraces the philosophy and ethics of yoga and designs her classes to her student’s specific needs.

300 HOUR YTT REQUIRED MATERIAL AND ASSIGNMENTS

As part of the preparation towards your 300-hour yoga teacher training with us, we have specifically and carefully chosen books and assignments. you will be given a suggested reading list with yoga-related books to read before coming to the course best prepare you for classes during the program. All students are required to complete assignments during the course and to submit essays prior to the course starts of the books listed in the welcome letter, as well as assignments from the training manual.

These materials will also count towards non-contact hours. You will receive this list along with the joining instructions upon acceptance of your place in our 300-hour YTTC. We highly recommend that you endeavour to complete the pre-study online module before your yoga teacher training course begins.

Additional training using audio, video, and reading materials will be part of the course. Assignments on a regular basis make the program effective and engaging.
