The 200-hour is foundational, 300-hour is advanced with elective studies, and 500-hour offers comprehensive mastery, often requiring more time  and dedication.

A 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course can be seen as Step 1. It is considered the minimum requirement for teaching yoga and covers the basics and fundamental aspects of yoga, such as asana practice, philosophy, physiology, and anatomy in yoga. When you successfully complete this course, you receive a 200-hour certificate that is universally recognized by entities such as the Yoga Alliance (US).

The 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is considered the second level on the way to yoga teacher certification. It is recommended as an advanced level for those who have already completed 200h. 

Yes, a 200-hour certification is the worldwide accepted standard for teaching yoga. All our courses are  Yoga Alliance certified RYT-200 Yoga Teacher training – meaning you can gain your certification and register as a RYT-200 Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance immediately upon graduation from your studies – qualifying you to teach in gyms and studios worldwide.

Our Yoga Teacher Training courses are more than just yoga teacher trainings, they are a chance to transform and grow. Even if yoga teaching is not your goal, you will dive deeper into your own practice, share a unique transformational experience, gain changing Yoga knowledge and be supported by open-hearted and caring teachers and friends.

We require that all students have prior yoga experience of at least 1 year, and are committed to improving their practice.

Please note that some students that attend our teacher training simply wish to deepen their practice and do not intend to teach. This is fine with us, as what matters more  is a student’s dedication, commitment to personal growth and openness to learning.

Even though it is preferable that you have already completed a 200 Hr training, exceptions can bemade for students who have a reasonable level of experience and fit the desciption above.

Modular Training applies to our courses in India and these courses qualify as 100credit hours toward continuing education required of yoga teachers through Yoga Alliance every 2 years. These include, but are not limited to, our courses in Advanced Yoga Sequencing, Yin Yoga, Meridians & Anatomy, Advanced Meditation, Restorative Yoga, The Living Yoga Sutras & Origins of the Modern Yoga Practice, Advanced Yoga Anatomy, The Practice of Sound Healing, Advanced Pranayama, and Tantra Kundalini.

You can participate in the entire training or individual module.

We offer single and shared occupancy accommodation, in a boutique venue,  located in the very heart of Rishikesh. The hotel is comfortable and spacious with Indian furnishings, a large dining room, and a beautiful yoga area. Every single room has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and comfortable bed, to ensure your sleep is peaceful throughout the night.

Looking out over the Himalayas, yoga classes are held in the spacious and cozy yoga shala, dappled in sunlight and mountain views. This unforgettable and inspiring space gets the first rays at sunrise and the last magical light at sunset.

During your Yoga Teacher Training, you will be served three  delicious vegetarian or vegan meals per day.

We also provide a daily fruit buffet during the afternoon break where you can take fruits and herbal tea for a little snack and refreshment.

We provide vegetarian meals only (No Meat, Egg or Fish). If you have any allergies or restrictions, please let us know in advance.

The 200h YTT is suitable for people who want to explore yoga teaching, are thinking of becoming a yoga teacher in the future or just want to level up their knowledge. There are no teaching requirements to be able to join this course, you can be a beginner.

Becoming a certified and registered 500h yoga teacher is the best way to have a serious career in the yoga world, because after that you can not only teach students in yoga studios, but also conduct yoga teacher trainings and this certification will bring you many other benefits. You are expected to attend all the classes. If you miss classes, you will be given assignments to make up the time, these will be determined by the teacher(s) and will ensure you meet the required hours of study to qualify.

Full attendance and participation in all the classes is required to obtain your certificate. There will also be a practical text and a theory test at the end of the course

Our teachers keep a supportive eye on all the students and make sure that everyone stays on track throughout the course so that there is no risk of failure. The courses are designed to teach you and help you grow as a teacher, if you are open to learning you will be fine. We are not trying to catch you out with exam questions, we provide support throughout the process to ensure your success.

We know that these are uncertain things, and it’s worrying to plan things in advance. For this reason we are offering a flexible cancelation policy, that is fair to our customers, partners and teachers.

If you can’t attend the course and would like to cancel your participation more than 35 days before the retreat – the full amount will be refunded to you, minus the deposit. 
If cancellation takes place less than 35 days before the course – your full payment amount will be transferred for future courses, retreats, but minus the deposit. 
If cancellation takes place less than 2 weeks before the course, your payment is unfortunately non refundable. 

A full list of things to bring will be sent to you as a part of your welcome package. There is no standard list because every location is different and therefore different clothes, props and additional items may be required.

We ask all prospective students to fill out a personal application form. So we can understand their background in yoga, motivation to learn, and see if they are fit to study. To fully secure your spot, we require a non-refundable deposit that is used to reserve your spot in our course and is also applied towards your entire course tuition.
